#2 A cash-in?

One of the biggest rumours going into SummerSlam has to do with Carmella and her Money In The Bank briefcase. The SmackDown Women’s Championship match sees Naomi defending her title against Natalya. Fans were genuinely surprised when Nattie won the #1 contender’s match, seeing that WWE haven’t given her a proper push in years.

With more popular stars like Becky Lynch and Charlotte not even on the card, it boggles the mind as to why WWE chose Natalya. One theory is that Natalya will beat Naomi only for Carmella to cash in on her.

However, betting odds do not support this theory as Naomi is the clear favourite to win as of the time of writing this article. It would make more sense for Carmella to cash in on a babyface after all.
