Triple H suffered an embarrassing squash loss in his first WrestleMania against The Ultimate Warrior. In 1999, Triple H lost a singles match to Kane via DQ. The Undertaker advanced his Streak in 2001 by picking up a win over Triple H. The Game went on to lose three straight main events during 2004-2006 with losses against Chris Benoit, Batista, and John Cena.

Another loss came in 2008 when Randy Orton defeated Triple H and Cena at WrestleMania 24. Triple H lost two consecutive WrestleMania matches to The Undertaker in 2011 and 2012. At WrestleMania XXX, Daniel Bryan scored a big win over The Game in the opening match of the show.
Triple H won the WWE World title at Royal Rumble 2016 and lost it to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 32. The next year, he lost to another Shield member when Seth Rollins put him down in the middle of the ring.
In 2018, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle defeated Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a Mixed tag team match at The Show of Shows. Triple H hasn't wrestled at the event since his win over Batista in 2019.
