A man of Finn Balor's talent shouldn't be anywhere near the mid-card level that he is currently in. Ever since he was picked ahead of Roman Reigns and AJ Styles in the WWE Draft of 2016, Finn Balor was destined for greatness and was even backed initially.
After he injured his shoulder in an epic match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2016, Finn Balor has been overlooked by WWE officials regularly and has been booked in stale feuds with the likes of Bray Wyatt and Baron Corbin.
While his in-ring ability is second to none after making Brock Lesnar 'believe' with a spirited performance at the Royal Rumble PPV, Balor hasn't been given opportunities at the top of the card.
With Roman Reigns leaving behind a huge gap at the top, WWE has preferred to fill it up with the likes of Drew McIntyre. Although McIntyre is an amazing competitor himself, Balor's following amongst the WWE Universe puts him on par with some of the biggest faces in the company.
