#4. Former WWE Star Adnan Virk

Only hardcore members of the WWE Universe will remember Adnan Virk. The former ESPN Sportscaster was hired by WWE in order to replace Tom Phillips as the play-by-play commentator on Monday Night RAW.

Phillips was part of WWE's Broadcasting team for more than nine years before he was released from the company earlier this year. Phillips commentated on NXT UK, 205 Live, RAW and SmackDown.

Virk arrived on RAW following WrestleMania 37 in April 2021 but despite his extensive background in sportscasting, his work gained quite a negative response from the WWE Universe.

Just six weeks later, WWE opted to part ways with the star and he was then replaced by former UFC commentator Jimmy Smith, who has since remained in the role.

Adnan later claimed that the schedule with WWE had become too much for him and his family. This means that Virk's career lasted just six weeks from the announcement on April 12th until his departure on May 25th.

Since his release from WWE, Virk has returned to podcasting and has even joined Cameo.
