The Forgotten Sons were due to be handed a shot at the Tag Team Championships on SmackDown before they were suddenly taken off WWE TV following Money in the Bank.
Wesley Blake, Jaxson Ryker, and Steve Cutler have climbed the ranks in WWE over the past few years and deserve a chance to become Champions despite the recent controversy surrounding the team.
Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura have recently become Champions on SmackDown, which means that The Forgotten Sons can't step back into a feud for the titles with the current heel Champions.
Over on RAW, The Street Profits are the current Tag Team Champions and after their match with Cesaro and Nakamura this week on RAW, The Forgotten Sons could arrive and be their next challengers for the titles heading into Clash of Champions.
The Forgotten Sons are definitely in need of a fresh start in the company and a change of brand could be the perfect way for the trio to start afresh in WWE and move on from their recent off-screen issues.
