On the April 16, 2019 edition of WWE SmackDown, Vince McMahon introduced Elias as "the greatest acquisition in SmackDown history.".
The celebrations were cut short when Roman Reigns came down to the ring. He delivered a Superman Punch to Elias before doing the same to Vince. Reigns then claimed that SmackDown was his yard, signalling his dominance over the Blue Brand.

During Triple H and Randy Orton's feud heading into WrestleMania 25, Orton set his sights on tormenting the McMahon family. But Vince McMahon wanted an apology from Randy Orton in the middle of the ring.
Vince threatened to fire Orton if he did not apologize. Orton said that wouldn't be a good idea if he did so. The former WWE Champion then hit Vince on deck before delivering a wicked punt to his head. The move legitimately gave Vince a concussion as the pair wanted to make it look as natural as it could be.
