The Masterpiece is perhaps best remembered for his Masterlock full nelson inside a WWE ring. Despite being an intimidating force as a wrestler, however, outside of the squared circle Chris Masters was just another family man.
Back in 2011, the former WWE star made headlines all over the world when his mother was taken hostage and he did everything he could to ensure her safety. Masters made it to her house but it was already on fire and there was no way for him to gain entry.

Interestingly, Masters was able to pull up a tree from outside the house and throw it through a window to create an opening and allow him to enter the house and save his mother. The Masterpiece also went on to find the person who was responsible for taking his mother hostage and ensured that they faced the full force of the justice system.
Masters hasn't been in a WWE ring for more than a decade, but his antics outside of the ring have ensured that his name will always be remembered.
