How does Braun Strowman go from champion to being left off a pay-per-view?
How does Braun Strowman go from champion to being left off a pay-per-view?

Braun Strowman was Universal Champion a short time ago, but WWE derailed that train at SummerSlam and then did it a second time at Payback. This has left The Monster Among Men directionless and picking fights with Superstars on RAW Underground. Although that should be a great way to build his momentum back up to use him in some other role, it's a pity that he's been dropped off the title scene.

Unfortunately for Braun Strowman, this leaves him without an opponent for the upcoming Clash of Champions pay-per-view and serves to show just how far down the totem pole that Strowman has fallen. It also shows that WWE doesn't have any plans to reinsert him in the title picture at the moment and could just be using him to fill time on RAW Underground.

Strowman needs direction and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to find it before the upcoming Clash of Champions pay-per-view. It also feels like WWE is using him to prop up other talent on RAW Underground, which is a sound strategy for those it is benefiting, but it seems to be bad news for Strowman.
