Alexa Bliss might end up missing out on Clash of champions

WWE has been plodding forward with the Alexa Bliss-Fiend storyline and although there seems like a great payoff on the horizon, we have to get there first. Unfortunately for Bliss, that likely means being left off of the upcoming Clash of Champions pay-per-view and losing a bit of momentum in the process.

Now, being left off of a B-level pay-per-view isn't the worst thing to happen to Bliss, especially since the company is likely saving something big for her, it is still disappointing to see her underutilized. It is even more disappointing that the next chapter of her storyline with The Fiend wont play out at Clash of Champions.

Then again, maybe WWE could do a backstage storyline or an in-ring segment between Alexa Bliss and The Fiend, but this feels like the kind of story that can be told through a match. Whether WWE eventually gets to that point remains to be seen, but it doesn't look like it will happen at Clash of Champions
