Dusty Rhodes was one of the biggest Superstars in the history of professional wrestling. With his exceptional mic skills and in-ring prowess, The American Dream became very successful while working for NWA, WCW and ECW. His unparalleled charisma also gave him a chance to work with WWE in his late-40s, though his stint with the company wouldn't be much successful.

While working for WWE, Rhodes feuded with the likes of Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase and many others to establish himself as one of the biggest Superstars in the company.
However, Rhodes didn't enjoy much time at the top as he walked out of WWE after working for just two years. Not only did Rhodes conclude his WWE career without any title victory, but he also never found himself challenging for the gold.
While Rhodes would make his comeback to WWE in 2005, this time around, he'd be already retired and focused more on his role backstage in the company. He did occasionally step foot inside the squared circle as well.
