#4. The Miz - The most likable heel in WWE outside the ring?
While the likes of John Cena get the credit they deserve for all the work they did in and out of WWE, Cody Rhodes once said that The Miz works just as hard as Cena did.
The A-Lister is a superstar who is already appreciated by many fans, but the true level of appreciation he deserves may only come once he retires from the squared circle. He has enjoyed a decade-and-a-half long tenure in the company, which is far longer than the average superstar.
In that time, The Miz went from being a superstar who fans couldn't take seriously to a superstar who fans couldn't stand, and then a superstar who fans simply couldn't deny.
The only two-time Grand Slam Champion in WWE history has already accumulated a Hall of Fame-worthy career, and his work with Miz & Mrs. and more recently, Dancing With The Stars are likely going to serve as a pivot to the next stage of his career.
He spent most of his career being one of the most hated heels, while also remaining a beloved figure backstage. All you need to do is watch The Miz out of character on Miz & Mrs., and he comes across as a nice, cool, and relatable human being.
The A-Lister did a brilliant job in getting the fans to hate him while being the complete opposite of his on-screen persona in real life.
