#1. Randy Orton - Too deeply involved in another storyline ahead of Elimination Chamber

While we admit that this is a controversial entry, there's a reason why Randy Orton can be replaced in the Elimination Chamber match. Randy Orton has the experience, the pedigree, and it makes a lot of sense for him to be in the Elimination Chamber match.

But as with some of the other competitors, it's easy to tell that he won't be walking out as the WWE Champion. There could be a scenario where he wins the Elimination Chamber match and defends the WWE title against The Fiend Bray Wyatt in a WrestleMania rematch. But it's not a bout that needs a title on the line.

Many argue that The Fiend is a character that simply doesn't need to have a Championship to be legitimate, and it's a fair argument.

But given how deeply engrossed Randy Orton is in his storyline with Alexa Bliss (and Bray Wyatt), the obvious outcome seems to be one of the two appearing inside the Elimination Chamber to cost him his 15th World Championship.
