Speaking of the spookiest WWE Superstars of all time, The Boogeyman's name surely comes to mind. With a bizarre gimmick where he used to eat worms, appear in unexpected places, and scare of Superstars with his maniac laugh, The Boogeyman is the perfect candidate to appear at a show like NXT Halloween Havoc.
The Boogeyman has made occasional appearances for WWE in the past few years with his last in-ring stint coming at the 2015 Royal Rumble match where he entered as a surprise entrant and was eliminated by Bray Wyatt. He then signed a legends contract with WWE later that year. Recently, the speculation of him making a return to WWE has started with The Boogeyman himself teasing the same through multiple social media posts.
Currently aged 56, it's unlikely that The Boogeyman will come back for a proper run, but WWE can always bring him back for one night for a special appearance or even a match. And what better time to do that than at NXT Halloween Havoc.
