Jerry “The King” Lawler’s association with WWE has been a very long one. He has seen the company through many changes and currently, he is a part of yet another brand-split as an announcer.
Lawler hasn’t quite been able to integrate with the new commentators ever since Jim Ross’s retirement but he never misses a chance to chime in with his two cents worth.

Fans of the WWE must be pretty used to Lawler’s comments on politics during the show. When the primary season had just started, Jerry the King came out in support of Donald Trump. As early as February, he sent out a tweet in support of the Republican candidate which caused quite a backlash for him as he allegedly received death threats for his post.
