Wasn't Shayna Baszler supposed to be the future of WWE?

While The Queen of Spades was originally pegged to defeat Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36, she lost that match and then quickly got lost in the shuffle. WWE tried to reignite that flame by putting her in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match, but she came up unsuccessful once again.

Whether WWE is doing this strategically to save Asuka versus Baszler down the line, or that they just don't have any plans for her remains to be seen. But there has to be something going on - why else would such a top tier talent be kept off of television when she is supposedly the future of the Women's division.

In the end, Baszler is someone that brings a certain kind of brutality to the squared circle which is very difficult to duplicate. In fact, her intense aura and the way she can destroy an opponent in a matter of seconds is what the Raw women's division needs at an uncertain time like this.
