At WrestleMania 30 in 2014, the WWE Universe witnessed possibly the most shocking moment in the history of this business. The Undertaker lost to Brock Lesnar and his legendary undefeated streak at The Show of Shows came to an end. The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak was a major USP for WWE's biggest event every year, and many couldn't believe that Vince McMahon would decide to put an end to it. Fans were a bit worried heading into WrestleMania, as Lesnar had always dominated The Undertaker during their previous encounters. But no one had imagined that The Beast would break the streak that had been built up for more than two decades.
The next singles match that The Undertaker lost was against Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell, more than a year later. Between these two losses, The Undertaker remained undefeated, with his first victory coming against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31. This was followed by a submission win over Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam 2015. The Deadman teamed up with Kane in his next three outings in wining efforts against Braun Strowman and Luke Harper.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
