#4. Kurt Angle

Since his WWE debut, Kurt Angle has been a dominating rival to all main eventers. He had a back-and-forth rivalry with The Undertaker during late 2005 and early 2006.

The Phenom returned to Royal Rumble 2006 and broke the ring with his supernatural powers when Angle was in it. This led fans to believe the two titans would lock horns at that year's WrestleMania.

However, that match didn't happen, and Taker faced Mark Henry instead. The match didn't happen anytime in the future either.

#3. Bret 'The Hitman' Hart

Bret Hart and The Undertaker didn't have much of a rivalry except in a few title matches. Hart was mostly featured in the World Championship Convention and Taker kept on taking big men in fights. Thus a WrestleMania bout for these two never came to life.

One of the greatest matches the two had was at Summerslam 1997. Bret Hart emerged as the victor and bid farewell to the company later that year, putting a halt to expectations for any WrestleMania match against The Phenom.

Though Hart returned to WWE in 2010, he wasn't in his physical prime and never crossed paths with the soon-to-be Hall of Famer.
