In the aftermath, all passengers suffered broken back and some severe concussions including Ric Flair

The Nature Boy Ric Flair suffered one of his career-ending injuries on the night of October 4th, 1975 in Wilmington, North Carolina.

There at that night, Ric Flair, Tim Woods, Bobby Bruggers, Johnny Valentine with their promoter David Crockett was traveling on a flight together. The plane took off to Wilmington from Charlotte and was supposed to reach there safely. But things turned out different.

As they were about to reach Wilmington's runaway, Valentine noticed that they have run out of gas. But the pilot, Joseph Farkas assured him that they still have a lot of fuel left in wings. Guess what he was wrong.

Just after Valentine notice, the plane started to fall down. Due to which, the pilot got panicked, but still, he acted smartly and landed the plane 100 yards far from the runaway. And as they reached down to the ground, the plane hit some trees and was almost about to hit the water pole but luckily it didn't. Also, the plane was just a few yards away reaching into the water.

In the aftermath, all passengers suffered broken back and some severe concussions including Ric Flair.

Though Ric suffered a broken back in the plane crash, this turned out soon to be good for him. Because after this incident happened, he developed his new style of taking the bumps in the ring.
