During the end of 2010, WWE was on tour as usual. And during that time, R-Truth suffered a viral disease that almost took his life away from him.

By the end of the year, R-Truth was suffering from walking pneumonia. This was a type of condition that doesn't do anything serious to the person who suffers it. Due to this, he was working as usual.

But certainly, things turned out different for him. As he was standing backstage, he collapsed down to the ground because the required amount of oxygen wasn't reaching out to his brain. Luckily, for him when he break-down into convulsions some people were standing near him after which they rushed him to the hospital.

After he was admitted, his medics told that if he hasn't reached out to the hospital in time, he possibly could have died. The reason for his deadly condition of him was reported the strains of pneumonia due to which he was suffering from fatigue as he was working on a hectic schedule back then.
