5 WWE superstars who are loved the most backstage

Luke Gallows is very popular backstage

In the words of CM Punk, WWE should probably be the most fun place in the world to work. Alas, many Superstars both past and present have confirmed that not to be the case nine times out of ten, but we as fans can still cling to the hope that all the guys and girls are the best of friends behind the scenes. Right?

Anyway, while some people may be a tad disgruntled, there are members of the roster on both Raw and SmackDown Live that are known for being loved and adored behind the scenes. For some, it may be because of their personality while others may just have a naturally good vibe, but one way or another, these fellas have built a pretty strong reputation for themselves.

That's not to say that the five names on this list are the only ones in the company that know how to put smiles on their colleagues’ faces, but they are indeed the ones that stand out above the rest. Of course, it could be a different story if you were to meet them in person one day, but let’s not shatter that illusion just yet.

With that being said, here are five WWE superstars who are loved the most backstage.

#1 Big Show

The Big Show is universally respected

The World’s Largest Athlete also seems to be the world’s nicest guy, with Big Show constantly being named as one of the best personalities to hang around with behind the scenes. The former World Champion has had the tenured veteran status for a while now, and he seems to be focusing his attention on ensuring that the future of the business is in good hands.

Show is always popping up on the Snapchat and Instagram stories of today’s current stars, and whenever someone needs to turn to a legend for advice Show always seems to be the guy that they go to. If you need proof of that, go back and watch countless episodes of Total Divas where he pops up with some interesting words of wisdom.

Up, up, down... down?

#2 Xavier Woods

Xavier Woods has single-handedly brought the roster today

Xavier Woods seems to have single-handedly brought the locker room together over the last few years, after many reports of the superstars keeping quiet as opposed to interacting with one another. Through his UpUpDownDown YouTube channel he’s created quite the following both online and behind the scenes within the company.

Superstars from the past and present have appeared on the show, and it seems to create a much more friendly vibe when it comes to how these larger than life personalities interact. Obviously, we can’t be a fly on the wall to confirm this, but they all seem to be quite friendly with one another and Woods has to be a big reason for that.

It’s time to talk about the Devil’s Favourite Demon.

#3 Kane

Knox County’s next mayor?

When someone like CM Punk is praising you, then you know that you’ve done something right. Glenn Jacobs aka Kane is known to be one of the industry’s sweethearts, spending the last two decades helping to get over numerous talents while also remaining as humble as he did when he first started in the business.

Nobody ever has a bad word to say about him, and it’s clear that he’s still around because he loves professional wrestling. After all, he must’ve earned some serious cash over the years and could likely retire in peace tomorrow – but instead, he wants to give back to WWE after they gave him so much, to begin with. What a guy.

#4 Big E

Big E is a very jovial character

When he isn’t busy being hilarious on Twitter or alongside his New Day brothers, Big E is backstage lifting the spirits of everyone that comes into contact with him. From the snippets that we’ve seen of behind the scenes action over the last few years, Langston comes across as one of the most entertaining and down to earth characters that WWE has seen in a long time.

He’s silly, comical and comes across as a friend who you’d always want to have around in your life. Of course, you could probably say the same thing about quite a few superstars, but there aren’t many who have made as big of an impact as the former Intercontinental Champion.

Sex Ferguson reporting for duty.

#5 Luke Gallows

Luke Gallows is WWE’s resident jester

Luke Gallows is the definition of WWE’s local jester, with numerous reports confirming that the guy has one of the biggest and best personalities backstage. He likely knows quite a few of the boys due to his previous tenure in the company, but he seems to be making a pretty good impression this time round as well.

You can tell how hilarious he is just based on his appearances on the Talk Is Jericho podcast, with his cameo in Southpaw Regional Wrestling confirming those suspicions. He may not be getting the respect that we as fans feel he deserves on screen, but he’s certainly responsible for creating a great working environment on Monday Night Raw.
