5 WWE superstars who botch the most

While the rest of the world likes to deride professional wrestling for being "fake", fans of sports entertainment know the amount of training and skill required in order for professional wrestlers to perform safely. The risks are very much real.

Therefore, it is especially important that wrestlers are safe workers - protecting not only themselves but also their opponents. AJ Styles is a great example of this as The Phenomenal One is constantly able to pull off highly risky moves with relative ease.

But, not everyone is able to exhibit the same level of safety as the current WWE Champion. There are some WWE superstars who have become notorious for their botches in the ring. So, without any further ado, let's get into our list of the 5 WWE superstars who botch the most:

#5. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins comes in at Number 5 on this list and you have to wonder how such a skilled professional wrestler warrants a place here. Well, be it his fault or not, Rollins has been directly responsible for a number of injuries - both to himself and to his opponents.

He broke John Cena's nose, put Finn Balor on the shelf for a number of months, and ended Sting's WWE career. The latter two instances both were because of his now infamous Buckle Bomb.

He even got himself injured during a live event which required him to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

#4. Titus O'Neil

This entry is more hilarious than dangerous really. Titus O'Neil might look like an impressive physical specimen but his in-ring skills are average at best and laughable at worst. But, it's not this lack of wrestling talent that earns O'Neil a place on this list, no.

The leader of Titus Worldwide is stupidly bad on the mic and has been responsible for some of the most confusing yet amusing promos in recent times. Today's WWE promos are heavily scripted and that just seems to add to the hilarity as Titus visibly tries to remember his lines.

#3. Jeff Hardy

Where do you even start with Jeff Hardy? The man is one of the most gifted in-ring performers of our generation and one of the most over WWE superstars of all-time due to his high-flying style of wrestling. Unfortunately, that high-risk style comes at a cost.

His intricate moveset means he often misses the mark with his attacks. The number of times his Will O The Wisp has missed the mark is innumerable and that's just scratching the surface really.

As much as fans hate to admit it, the younger Hardy brother is quite the botcher.

#2. Sin Cara

Okay, I hear you say that Sin Cara doesn't seem to be botching too much these days so why is he on this list exactly? Well, let me tell you something. The man behind the Sin Cara mask today is actually the second person to be donning the luchador costume.

The original Sin Cara became a notorious botcher who messed things up on a regular basis but it went even beyond that. There are backstage rumours that he was extremely difficult to work with - even going so far as to refuse to learn English.

When you get fired and replaced in your gimmick, you know you mess up way too often.

#1. Sabu

If you're a younger fan of professional wrestling, you probably don't know who Sabu is. But, for those of us who have followed the sport since the 1990s, the name invokes memories of an ECW legend who is celebrated as one of the most extreme wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots.

Unfortunately, that didn't make him a great wrestler. Sabu's whole appeal was his suicidal style of wrestling and that translated to a number of botches that led to a number of injuries - both to himself and his equally crazy comrades from Extreme Championship Wrestling.
