Will WWE give him a consolation win?

After being squashed at the hands of Brock Lesnar at WWE Super Showdown, it seemed like the Creative team would bring Ricochet back to the mid-card. Surprisingly. they dropped him to the lower mid-card and had him fight Riddick Moss for the 24/7 Championship. Much to the surprise of the fans, The One and Only lost that match.

Richochet said in a recent interview that he is open to moving back to NXT. However, it is unlikely that the Creative will let him move back anytime soon. The former North American Champion needs some momentum on the Red brand, even if WWE wishes to keep him in the lower mid-card. The best way WWE could use him at WrestleMania 36 is by having him take part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He can be booked to win the whole thing and later cut a promo blurring the lines between kayfabe and reality.

This way, he could get a ton of momentum and perhaps enter the mid-card title picture on RAW.
