While everybody else on this list would probably need to begin their commentary careers in NXT and work their way up, The Miz wouldn’t need to do that. He has had guest stints at the WWE announce desk before and, let’s be honest, he is already better than most of the colour commentators on Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
The seven-time Intercontinental champion has done an incredible job over the years at making fans care about his matches through his promo deliveries, and the whole point of being a commentator is to make fans care about other people’s matches.
Looking at the job requirements, there’s nobody better than “The A-Lister” – a man who has proven he can do anything that’s asked of him in WWE – to fill a space at the announce desk when his in-ring career comes to an end.
