At WWE Fastlane, The Shield reunited to take on against Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, and Bobby Lashley. As expected, The Hounds Of Justice won the bout which was advertised as their final match together.

Dean Ambrose is going to leave WWE next month after his contract expires and has already denied resigning. Fans are going to miss him for sure and it is evident that The Shield could not be the same without him.

However, it wouldn't be wrong if Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins create a new stable after Ambrose leaves WWE. By no means, I am saying that they should create Shield 2.0 but what I'm saying, instead, is that this could be a brand new faction with little to no connection to The Shield. And, here are those 5 Superstars WWE could use to create a new faction with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

#5 Finn Balor

Balor Club 2.0?
Balor Club 2.0?

Recently, Finn Balor lost his Intercontinental Championship to Bobby Lashley after Lio Rush interfered in the match. Now, many fans are thinking about what his future could be in WWE. After a long time, he had won any title in this company but this time as well, his reign was brief.

Balor already has a history with every member of The Shield as he once faced this group with The Balor Club. However, not their every encounter was a match.

At one point, Seth Rollins saved Balor from Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler and at the other, Balor helped Reigns during his match against Baron Corbin.

The Shield also came to save Balor once from Strowman, McIntyre, and Ziggler but then, the entire Raw roster attacked them. Balor has also teamed up with every member of The Shield and it wouldn’t be shocking if he gets into a team with Reigns and Rollins after their Lunatic brother leaves.

#4 Matt Riddle

Hey BRO!
Hey BRO!

Yes, Matt Riddle has zero connection with The Shield but it didn't mean that he can't create one. Riddle is a former MMA fighter who is known for his work in UFC. Out of 13 fights Riddle fought, he won 8, lost 3 and the remaining 2 were declared as no contest.

Even though Riddle has no direct connection to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, he, at least, has an indirect one. Since joining the NXT, Riddle has only one main goal and that is to beat Brock Lesnar and retire him.

If you remember, Reigns and Rollins want to do the same. Right now, Lesnar is scheduled to face The Kingslayer at WrestleMania where he is expected to be conquered by Rollins. However, if in future, we see an encounter of Reigns and Rollins with Lesnar then don’t be surprised if Riddle also joins them.

#3 Bray Wyatt

Wyatt and Ambrose

Bray Wyatt is a no stranger to any member of The Shield. When Brey had The Wyatt Family, he feuded with The Hounds Of Justice that resulted in many great matches. Out of their every match, the Elimination Chamber 2014 one is most liked by the WWE Universe.

In my opinion, Wyatt knows The Shield way more than any other superstars in this list. He is one of those superstars who can work terrifically as a team and if he will be Reigns and Rollins’ partner in the near future, then it would be incredible. Currently, he is sidelined from Monday Night Raw and is expected to return after WrestleMania.

However, to some fans, Wyatt, Reigns, and Rollins in a team doesn’t sound great but this odd alliance could end up becoming one of the most liked tag teams of all time. After all, there’s nothing impossible in WWE.

#2 Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman also has a history with The Shield, both as a friend and as an enemy. Not only did Strowman feuded with them but also teamed up with every member of The Shield in WWE.

The Monster Among Men is really like a monster in WWE and now that he is a face, he could team up with The Shield. Previously, he was expected to team up with them at Fastlane but the idea, seemingly, got nixed by the company. However, I strongly believe that he has got better chances than any other wrestler to join a stable with Reigns and Rollins after Ambrose’s departure.

But what I don't believe is that this stable will last long. Strowman’s anger is the main reason why he can't work with other superstars on the main roster for long. He is known for turning on his own partners and it could happen with Reigns as Rollins too.

#1 Kassius Ohno

He was supposed to be The Shield's original member
He was supposed to be The Shield's original member

Ok, so Kassius Ohno is surely going to be a complete stranger for most of you. The reason is that this Superstar previously worked as Chris Hero and now works in NXT which automatically cuts off the number of fans who could recognize him.

Ohno started working for WWE in 2011 but left the company in 2013. According to former WWE writer Kevin Eck, Ohno, along with Rollins and Ambrose, was going to be in The Shield. However, the plans were changed and Reigns replaced him.

So this automatically creates some kind of history of him with The Shield. Ohno currently works in the UK division of NXT but in future, he could become the one to join Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a group.

I know that WWE can't build another Shield but at least, they could create a brand new stable which will outperform other teams in this company.
