EC3 is the name who had the whole world behind him during his time in TNA (Impact Wrestling). When he became a popular wrestling figure, WWE signed him up to join the NXT roster. Soon, the company called him to the main roster.

Months went by, and EC3 didn't receive the spotlight he deserved until one night when he interrupted Jon Moxley and defeated him in a match. Fans thought it's a career-changing victory for EC3, but WWE didn't capitalize on the opportunity.

The former 24/7 received some television time thereafter. Fans wanted him to align with Drake Maverick as this team did pretty well in TNA. But the idea failed in WWE. Vince McMahon has reportedly given up on EC3, and he probably won't receive a push. Unlike other talents who have asked for their release in WWE and got rejected, EC3 has a higher chance of leaving WWE this year. He was seen recently with Chris Jericho, and the current AEW Champion even posted a picture of them on Instagram.

Considering the caption Jericho put in his post, we can predict that soon, EC3 will ask for his release and probably have his request granted.
