2: Finn Balor (Summerslam 2016)

Balor became the very first WWE Universal Champion.

When WWE Champion Dean Ambrose was drafted to SmackDown Live in the 2016 brand extension, it left RAW without a top title.

Introducing the new Universal Championship, everyone on RAW wanted to be the first champion, though as Summerslam approached, the inaugural champ would be decided between Finn Balor and Seth Rollins.

During the match, Rollins powerbombed the Irishman onto the barricade outside the ring, inadvertently dislocating Balor's shoulder.

Popping it back in, Balor would somehow find a way to finish the match, beating the Architect to become the first Universal champion. His reign wouldn't last long sadly, as the Extraordinary Man would be forced to vacate the title the next night due to the injury.

Though his reign was short, the Demon made a believer out of many fans for being able to finish the match.
