Brock Lesnar defeated The Rock in the main event of SummerSlam 2002, thus becoming the youngest WWE Champion in history. He had bagged the opportunity at the title after winning the King of the Ring tournament. Lesnar went on to engage in a feud with The Undertaker, who was donning The American Badass persona at the time. The Beast managed to put The Deadman down inside Hell In A Cell at No Mercy 2002, thus ending the feud.

At Survivor Series, Lesnar met Big Show with the WWE title on the line. The ending to the match saw Lesnar's manager Paul Heyman betraying him and joining forces with Big Show. Heyman's betrayal led to Big Show defeating Lesnar to win the WWE title.
It's been a while since Big Show stopped appearing as an active wrestler. He made a return to RAW earlier this year, and joined forces with Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe to take on Seth Rollins and his cronies. After both factions traded wins on RAW, Big Show stopped appearing on weekly TV.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
