5 WWE superstars who should be moved to 205 Live

Elias Sampson

WWE has many opportunities for superstars looking to make a name for themselves and while almost every one of them dream of one day holding the big straps like, others are forced to accept the reality that they will always be a mid-card champion at best. Fortunately for those superstar's, there's the cruiserweight division and 205 Live.

Not only has the cruiserweight division created opportunities for superstars who wouldn't have any otherwise, it has also created quite a few popular superstars in the process as well. Akira Towzawa, Neville, Rich Swann, TJP and Brian Kendrick have all revived their collective careers in The Cruiserweight division and that's why it's such a unique opportunity.

With that in mind, here are five superstars that would greatly benefit from being moved to 205 Live and spend some time competing for The Cruiserweight title. Keep in mind that this doesn't mean that these superstars have no opportunities beyond The Tuesday night show, but 205 Live would be a great place to get the ball rolling in their favour .

#5 Elias Sampson

While Elias Sampson is a very good generator of heat during his live performances on Raw, WWE is kind of running out of options for what to do with him. In fact, his feuds with Finn Balor, Titus O'Neil and other mid-carders have been entirely forgettable and people only seem to remember his cheap shots at live crowds.

With that being said and what WWE has already done with Enzo Amore, it goes without saying that they could certainly do the same with Elias Sampson. Not only would this work due to Sampson being in a smaller pool of talent, he might even be able to make a great heel champion if WWE pushes him right.

#4 Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler

We all know the gatekeeper gimmick that Dolph Ziggler currently has going on is beyond boring, but what can really be done with a guy that WWE has seldom believed in throughout his career? While some might see this as ridiculous, especially given Ziggler's monumental accomplishments, it might be in The Showoff's best interest to move to 205 Live.

Not only would it give Ziggler a chance to shine on a show that is more geared towards his fast-paced and jaw-dropping move set, he could also be used to help other superstars learn what he has been perfecting in the ring for years. In fact, WWE could even make it an open challenge type thing and make it something really special.

In the end, some people might see this as a demotion for Ziggler, but it's got to be better than floating around in mid-card obscurity for the rest of his career. Furthermore, if Ziggler is on 205 Live, wouldn't that better showcase the talent that WWE has ignored for so many years in regard to The Showoff?

#3 Jason Jordan

Jason Jordan,

WWE seems to have booked themselves into a corner when it comes to Kurt Angle's son, Jason Jordan, who despite looking great at times in the ring against top-level opponents, can't seem to get the audience behind him. Of course, some of that has to do with the whiny gimmick he's been saddled with, but he could really do a lot better than this.

That's why Jordan needs to finally leave his fathers shadow and make his way to 205 Live. Not only does this allow Jordan to forge his own legacy and have a chance to shine, his quick movements and insane athleticism will be something that makes him insanely popular with The WWE Universe again.

They just need to get him out of this whiny brat storyline first.

#2 Xavier Woods

Kofi Kingston,

Xavier Woods might have a pretty amazing thing going with The New Day, especially after becoming four-time WWE Tag team champions earlier this year, but nothing lasts forever and that's why Woods needs to think about his future job prospects. With that being said, what better place to start that search than The Cruiserweight division.

Not only would his high flying and quick offence be greatly appreciated on 205 Live, he also has a radiant personality that would elevate any storyline he's involved in. In fact, Xavier Woods would only make the division much more awesome with his quirky antics.

In the end, hopefully, The New Day's enviable break up is still months or years away, but it never hurts to start planning ahead and figuring out what to do next. Furthermore, 205 Live would probably be the best opportunity for the young star, especially since he got lost in the shuffle during his first run as a singles competitor on the main roster.

#1 Finn Balor

Finn Balor

It's no secret that a lot of people probably aren't going to like this pick for who should be moved to 205 Live, but wouldn't it be much better than what WWE is doing with him now? Sure, Balor is making that main roster money and has a large portion of The WWE Universe behind him, he just doesn't have the company behind him and that's what matters.

With that in mind, wouldn't it make sense for Balor, who is known for his devastatingly quick offence and showmanship, to put his storyline purgatory behind him on the main roster and go to a place where he set the entire world on fire? Not only that, putting him on 205 would make him an instant contender for The Cruiserweight title and would help to re-establish him.
