We take a look at some WWE Superstars who were arrested over the years

Human beings are not perfect, regardless of whether we're talking about an average joe, a celebrity actor or a WWE Superstars. Like many of us, WWE Superstars have also made mistakes over the years, some of which have led to them getting arrested. However, instead of being chastised, we should understand that everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a chance to learn from them - and WWE Superstars should be no exception.

Earlier toda we learned about Jimmy Uso's unfortunate arrest and we hope that he gets over his legal issues ahead of Sunday's title match against Shane McMahon on The Miz. Jimmy Uso's arrest led me to think about Superstars who have been arrested over the last few years so that's the subject we'll be looking at in today's article. If I missed any (which I'm sure I have) please sound off in the comments below.

#5 Jimmy Uso (2019)

We found out earlier today about Jimmy Uso's arrest. TMZ Sports first reported the story saying that Uso and his wife Naomi were pulled over while driving in Detroit. Naomi was reportedly driving the car the wrong way down a one-way street and was pulled over.

According to the report, after the officer asked Naomi to get out of the car, Jimmy Uso suddenly jumped out of the car and took off his shirt. The taken aback officer pulled out a taser which apparently caused Jimmy Uso to realize the seriousness of the situation and he calmed down after that.

Thankfully, Jimmy Uso later posted his bail and is out of jail. WWE also commented on the situation, releasing the following statement about Jimmy Uso's arrest, "Jonathan Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions."

Jimmy Uso and his brother Jey are set to challenge Shane McMahon and The Miz at WWE Elimination Chamber this Sunday for the SmackDown Tag-Team Championships.

#4 The Big Show (1998)

The Big Show is a WWE legend, regardless of your personal feelings about him and a really nice man to boot. However, like many of us, even he's made mistakes when he was younger.

In December 1998, a much younger Show was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida. Show was arrested for allegedly exposing himself. However, the charges were dropped later due to a lack of evidence on the matter.

Four months after this incident, Show was arrested again for punching a man in a bar.

#3 Booker T

Booker T is a professional wrestling legend but it could have been so different if he'd never been arrested as a youth. Booker had a tough childhood and was the youngest of eight children. His parents passed away when Booker was only 13.

A young Booker was forced to turn to crime later and robbed a series of Wendy's restaurants when he was 17 along with others. He was caught and sent to prison for 5 years although he was released after 19 months.

When he got out, Booker wanted a better life for him and his infant son and decided to go to wrestling school under Ivan Putski. The rest, as they say, is history.

#2 Lita (2011)

Lita's 2011 arrest was not as serious as some of the incidents on this list. She was pulled over in Augusta, GA in 2011 for speeding before the officer realized she was driving with a suspended license. This led to her arrest but the issues were not too serious.

#1 Brock Lesnar (2001)

In the end, it turned out that Brock Lesnar was arrested for no reason at all. Lesnar was arrested in 2001 and charged with possessing illegal steroids, which is actually a felony. Lesnar was arrested after receiving a parcel which police said contained a large amount of steroids.

Lesnar beat this charge after four months, however, when it turned out that the stuff in his possession weren't steroids at all. When Lesnar was cleared after the lab tests proved that the pills were not steroids, Lesnar's attorney said that cops had been apologetic when they found out that they had wrongly arrested Brock.
