Jeff Hardy's inability to keep himself clean from drugs has always caused trouble for him in his career. We cannot forget the time he wrestled under the influence in a match against Sting in TNA.
In 2003 Hardy went too far with his addictions, and it resulted in him getting fired by the WWE. He was on the receiving end of a big push and even had an outstanding match against the Undertaker for the WWE Championship.
Hardy was allegedly no-showing events, forgetting critical spots during the matches and alienated anyone who tried to help him.
WWE had no other choice but to let him go, and have him take some time to rehabilitate from his addictions. He came back to the company after this and had a triumphant run before departing once again.
Jeff along with his brother Matt returned to the WWE once again at WrestleMania 33 and is now the reigning United States Champion.
