#4 Bad Bunny will be joined at WrestleMania 37 by Damian Priest
Bad Bunny had been earmarked for a WrestleMania 37 bout ever since he interfered during the 2021 Royal Rumble. After Damian Priest eliminated both John Morrison and The Miz, Bad Bunny went to the top rope and jumped off on the two Superstars. That was, of course, after The Miz destroyed the DJ equipment of Bad Bunny.
That moment has been the impetus for the ongoing WrestleMania 37 angle between the musician and the former WWE Champion. The Miz briefly strayed from his feud with Bunny and Priest while he was the WWE Champion. Right after he lost the belt to Lashley, however, The Miz resumed his feud with Bad Bunny.
The Miz recently had enough and outright challenged Bad Bunny to a match at WrestleMania 37, which Bunny accepted. The only problem, however, is that despite his multi-platform popularity, Bad Bunny is not a seasoned WWE performer.
When WWE enlisted Arrow star Stephen Amell for a match at SummerSlam last decade, he was paired with Neville (now known as PAC in AEW). That was done so that Amell would only have to perform a few moves. The wrestler would then carry the action for the duration of the contest.
This angle has also included John Morrison and Damian Priest, and both were added to the match on the go-home episode of RAW. That would also signal the first WrestleMania match for Priest. That in and of itself would be a huge accomplishment since he joined RAW after Royal Rumble.
In short, this bout at WrestleMania 37 could turn into the first matches at The Show of Shows for one pairing. The Miz and Morrison are trusted veterans who are talented in their own rights.
They have been mostly used to put others over since rekindling their partnership at the end of 2019. The duo did have a run as SmackDown Tag Team Champions prior to moving to RAW.
The Miz can sell any feud on the mic, while Morrison's athleticism allows him to perform special moves between the ropes. Given that the singles match has been turned into a tag team bout, WrestleMania 37 could see two stars new to the big stage get a huge win.
