2018 has been a bit of a wild year for Asuka.

Entering the year with her incredible undefeated steak, Asuka won the first Women's Royal Rumble in January, and was on a wave of momentum, until she suffered her first official loss at WrestleMania 34, losing in subsequent title matches, whilst falling down the company's totem pole.

In December though, Asuka bounced back, winning the SmackDown Women's Championship at TLC, in an epic TLC bout against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

Despite this being a mixed year, the Empress has won 123 of her 141 WWE matches in 2018 (one match drawn), giving her an impressive 87.2% win record.

Now on top of the SmackDown Women's division, it doesn't seem like anyone can stop Asuka, though former champions such as Lynch, Flair, as well as Carmella, will certainly try.
