Tegan Nox had been away from WWE TV over the past few months after suffering a torn ACL in September.
Nox made her return at the beginning of the month as part of NXT's Great American Bash where she caused the distraction that saw Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae lose their NXT Women's Tag Team Championships.
Just days later, Nox made her debut on the main roster alongside Shotzi Blackheart and the two women were able to defeat current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina.

Despite the non-title victory, the four women battled again this past week on SmackDown and once again Shotzi and Nox were able to secure victory.
The year is already seven months in and Nox is yet to be pinned and has already had two main roster matches. The two back-to-back wins over the Tag Team Champions guarantee the former NXT stars a match for the titles in the future, which could be the end of Nox's current undefeated run in 2021.
