Akira Tozawa is the current 24/7 Champion in WWE after being able to pin R-Truth once again and lift the title for the tenth time.
Despite the fact that Tozawa has been part of a number of humorous segments on WWE TV throughout the past year, he hasn't been able to pick up a single victory.
According to Cagematch.net, Tozawa has wrestled 13 matches in the last six months and has been unable to pick up a win in 2021. The former Cruiserweight Champion has instead been focused on the 24/7 Championship, which could have been the catalyst to many of these losses.
Several of those losses have come during appearances on WWE's Main Event show since Tozawa has wrestled many of his matches there instead of on Monday Night RAW. The champion has lost matches to the likes of Ricochet, Angel Garza, Slapjack, and Drew Gulak in recent months.
He also won the 24/7 Championship almost a month ago and hasn't appeared on Monday Night RAW since.
