5 WWE Superstars you probably didn't know were stepparents

These two have large families!

The life of a professional wrestler is a difficult one. You are on the road for a majority of the year – sometimes upward of 300 days – and rarely get to spend any extended period of time with your family with any sort of regularity.

This obviously leads to difficulties in the personal relationships of wrestlers and, in extreme cases, also to a permanent end to marriages in the form of divorce. With a huge number of WWE stars having been part of a divorce, there comes the matter of children.

If you take a look at the marriage records of WWE Superstars, you will see that quite a few of them have on their second or third marriages and are married to people who themselves have been divorced in the past. This leads to a situation where children from previous unions come into the equation.

So, without any further ado, here are 5 WWE superstars you probably didn't know were stepparents:

#5 Michelle McCool

A softer side of The Phenom

Wife of the recently retired Undertaker, Michelle McCool is one of the few people to have seen the loving and tender side of The Deadman. Such is her importance in his life that he actually broke kayfabe to give her a kiss after his final match at WrestleMania 33.

Despite having retired from professional wrestling, the former WWE Women’s Champion has been married to The Phenom for a number of years and you can see that the two are very much in love with each other.

But, McCool is actually The Undertaker's second wife. Mark Callaway was originally married to Sara Frank – the woman whose name he had tattooed on his throat – and the divorced couple have three children together – the eldest of whom is in his twenties.

This, of course, makes McCool a stepmother to The Undertaker's children.

#4 Paige

The pair are set to be married in the near future

Okay, Paige isn't a stepmother yet but she will be soon.

Paige and Alberto del Rio – now Alberto el Patron – seem to have a tempestuous relationship but they are very much in love and very much engaged to each other, with a marriage on the horizon.

Despite el Patron’s drunken rants against Paige’s current employers – the WWE – there doesn’t seem to be any indication that the former Diva’s Champion is going to be leaving el Patron, no matter how much he may rant and rave against Vince McMahon and Triple H.

Unsurprisingly, this isn’t el Patron’s first marriage and he has children from his first union. Paige will become the stepmother to these children shortly, with marriage around the corner. She seems to be up for the challenge as she has spoken about her excitement on stepmotherhood during an episode of Total Divas.

#3 Randy Orton

Orton is very much a family man these days

Knowing Randall Keith Orton’s anger management issues from the noughties, it is hardly surprising that his marriage to Samantha Speno from 2007 never worked out, despite the couple having a daughter together.

After the divorce, Orton got married for a second time in the year 2015 to a woman named Kimberly Kessler. Kessler isn’t a wrestler but she accompanies Mr RKO Outta Nowhere to most of the gathering he attends, including this year’s WrestleMania weekend and the Hall of Fame.

This marriage to Kessler makes Randy both a father and a stepfather. The couple had their first child – a daughter – recently and Kessler’s three children from her previous marriage give Orton his status as a stepdad.

#2 Stone Cold Steve Austin

Austin has endured multiple failed marriages

That’s right, one of the most popular WWE Superstars to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle is a stepfather. Stone Cold Steve Austin has been married four times over the course of his life so it’s perhaps no surprise to see him on this list.

His failed marriages include college sweetheart Kathryn Burrhus, Lady Blossom, and Debra Marshall. It was the second of these marriages that gave him his status as a stepdad as Lady Blossom had a daughter from a previously failed marriage of her own.

The Texas Rattlesnake’s personal life hasn’t been quite as successful as his professional one but he seems to be doing better for himself these days as he has been married since 2009 to a Kristin Feres.

#1 Brock Lesnar

Lesnar and Sable have been married for eleven years

And the number one entry on this list is The Beast Incarnate himself, Brock Lesnar. The current WWE Universal Champion maybe one of the most private people in the world but his marriage to Sable is one of the most common pieces of personal information available about the man.

The pair were married eleven years ago, back in 2006 and have enjoyed an extremely low profile life away from the glare of the spotlight. Both of them seem to be very much in love and you rarely, if ever, hear any stories coming out in the media about the two.

This is Sable's second marriage and she has a daughter from her first which makes Brock Lesnar a stepfather. The two also have two sons together and Sable is the stepmother to Brock's daughter from a previous relationship.
