#4 Slater-Gator (Heath Slater and WWE Hall of Famer Titus O'Neil)

Heath Slater's WWE career has seen him be part of numerous forgettable tag teams and factions that could fill the list by themselves. Slater-Gator is a typical Slater team. Forgettable and unsuccessful, it helped neither of the members to ascend to a better spot on the roster.

They chiefly wrestled on the B-shows, and on RAW, they even lost to the team of Adam Rose and The Bunny. Hornswoggle was chosen as the mascot of the team at one point, but he barely added prestige to the team.

WWE did not even try to create a storyline out of the dissolution of Slater-Gator. They quietly disbanded as O'Neil recreated The Prime Time Players.

#3 The Meta Powers (former WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel and Macho Mandow)

The Mega Powers was one of WWE's premiere tag teams at one point, and the company inevitably decided to create a parody. Curtis Axel played the role of Hulk Hogan and Macho Mandow was, well, 'Macho Man' Randy Savage.

They even went to the extent of replicating the iconic handshake that formed The Mega Powers. They primarily feuded with The Ascension, but the gimmick did not reach its full potential.

Hulk Hogan got into some highly publicized real-life trouble, and WWE decided to sever ties with him. Curtis Axel's Axelmania gimmick was soon discarded, and The Meta Powers came to an end.
