5 WWE titles you never knew existed

4.The North and South American Championship

Pat Patterson

There was such a thing as a North and South American Championship. They were both separate entities until Pat Patterson unified them to form the Intercontinental Championship.

So, technically, this championship is still in existence in a way.

Legend has it that, and even the WWE sort of addressed the rumor, that the airline Patterson was travelling in lost the South American title. Isn’t that all the more reason to unify the titles.

5.Tag Team Championships

The six man tag team championship

No, this is not the two-man tag team championships, we’re talking about. They still exist. This is not just about three or four or five but six man tag team championship, we’re talking about.

So, six wrestlers figured on one side of the ring and six on the other in a match between, well, 12 wrestlers to win this championship. This is as obscure as obscure can get.

It was introduced in 1991 and continued for only about nine months.
