Will a different version of Carmella emerge once she returns to WWE?

In addition to Dana Brooke, the other woman from SmackDown that makes the most sense is Carmella. The Princess of Staten Island has been off of WWE TV ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began earlier this year; she has been self-quarantining throughout the whole process.

Prior to her quarantining, Carmella was a face star tagging with Brooke. Not much came from the partnership. Mella did have a SmackDown Women's Championship shot prior to 'Mania, but was unsuccessful in dethroning Bayley. So now that she hasn't been on TV for months, how will she return?

When Carmella does return, she could truly be either a face or a heel. Things are ever-changing in WWE and with the draft upcoming, these vignettes could be a way to reintroduce her to the masses. She's run with the 'fabulous' moniker since joining the main roster, so perhaps this is a way for her to switch things up.

Carmella has also dabbled in elegant and luxurious clothing like fur coats and heels during some of her ensembles of TV.
