5 WWE WrestleMania 35 moments that we wish didn't happen
#4 Emphasis on Colin Jost & Michael Che
As many people predicted, Braun Strowman outlasted 30+ men to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The story of the match revolved around SNL duo Colin Jost and Michael Che, who escaped through the ropes at the start and spent almost the entire Battle Royal hiding underneath the ring.
They returned at the end and attempted to eliminate Strowman. However, “The Monster Among Men” made light work of the celebrities, as well as their ‘therapist’, by punching Che over the top rope before launching Jost onto a group of Superstars at ringside.
The match itself was massively underwhelming, with Strowman being the only full-time Superstar to emerge with any kind of credit, and the emphasis on the guys from SNL seemed very unwise when you consider that nobody from WWE has even appeared on SNL during this storyline.
Jost and Che have played their roles as heels very well over the last few weeks, but what was really the point of all this?
