#2 Drew McIntyre's redemption

Finally, it happened. Drew McIntyre became the new WWE Champion, as he got the better of The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. In a short and sweet match, McIntyre survived a number of F5s before catching Lesnar with a couple of nicely struck Claymore Kicks. Those kicks proved to be one too many for The Beast as he was pinned fair and square by the Scottsman.

This win meant a lot to McIntyre and it showed through his celebration as he slammed the mat a couple of times before saying thank you to the fans watching from home. The way the match ended, it seems this feud is done and dusted, so it wouldn't be wrong to expect the new WWE Champion to move on to other things. McIntyre's celebration would have been a lot better with the WWE Universe around but still, it was a huge moment for him and did a good job in putting him over as a face.

As for Lesnar, don't be surprised if he takes a short hiatus from the company. The Beast is still in great shape and there are many feuds we want to see him in.

#1 Edge's WrestleMania return

It just had to be.

Edge vs Randy Orton was a match nine years in the making and it certainly didn't disappoint. The Rated R Superstar was the Last Man Standing as he absolutely dismantled Orton in a bout that went on for more than half an hour.

Both of them took the fight to each and every corner of the WWE Performance Center and Edge had to bring out his darkness to end his revenge story with The Viper. It was all about the storytelling - the way Edge stopped the count when Orton was down and out, the way he cried and that chair shot, in the end, added a beautiful touch to the carnage.

Also, the ending moment was absolutely poetic as Edge touched his head with Orton's and in a way, he thanked The Viper for giving him an incredible return match.

Now, the question is - will Edge do weekly television? One expects him to be on RAW this week to celebrate his victory but it wouldn't surprise anyone if he, as well, takes a short break before returning right in time for SummerSlam.
