Mickie James is now considered to be a veteran in WWE at present since the former Women's Champion actually debuted in WWE back in 2005 and feuded with the likes of Trish Stratus and Lita before she was released in 2011. Over the past few years, James managed to make a name for herself in TNA before WWE opted to re-sign the 6-time Champion back in 2017 following her loss to Asuka at the inaugural Takeover: Toronto event.

In the time that James was away from WWE, she met her husband Nick Aldis (Magnus) and the couple then welcomed their first child together back in September 2014, a son called Donovan.

Despite being on the road with WWE over the past three years, James has still been able to split her time so that she can help to raise her son. The Virginia native often updates images of her spending time with her son on social media, the fact that she is currently out of action with a knee injury means that she now has much more time to spend with her five-year-old son.
