Maria Kanellis is another female wrestler who came through WWE though the Diva Search and was later signed to the company. Kanellis is perhaps best remembered for being a backstage interviewer rather than a wrestler and unsurprisingly she was released from WWE back in 2010.

Maria then went on to wrestle for Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling and NJPW before she made her return to WWE at Money in the Bank 2017 alongside her husband Mike Bennett. Maria and Mike were set to be WWE's next IT couple but Maria announced that she was pregnant with the couple's first child a few months later and welcomed their daughter Fredrica "Freddie" Moon in April 2018.

Maria has recently been part of a storyline with her husband surrounding her second pregnancy after she announced that she was expecting in the middle of a tag team match with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch back in July. This has led many fans to believe that it was all a storyline, this actually isn't' he case, Maria is pregnant with her second daughter at present and due to give birth in February 2020.
