#5. Carmella - A useful star in WWE's women's division

Carmella has achieved a decent amount in WWE, and the highlight of her career so far has been becoming the first Ms. Money in the Bank in 2016. She enjoyed a good Championship reign on SmackDown the following year, and is one of the few superstars who hasn't officially switched brands since the WWE Draft of 2016.

She took a back seat recently around WrestleMania season, but has quietly started to build a bit of momentum on SmackDown. While we expect her to emerge as the SmackDown Women's title contender to Bianca Belair after Hell in a Cell, she should now be involved, ideally in a triple threat feud also involving Bayley.

#4. & 3. Randy Orton & Riddle - R-K-Bro

After WrestleMania 37, Randy Orton was finally given an interesting storyline by WWE. It was a fresh change seeing him go from the repetitive storyline with Alexa Bliss & Bray Wyatt to an odd-pairing with [Matt] Riddle.

The storyline on RAW has been an instant success, and R-K-Bro is now one of the highlights of WWE programming across all three brands. While it's understandable why WWE doesn't want to rush them into the title picture, the RAW Tag Team division has been so stale that they should become Champions at some point this year.
