Kenny Omega

With one appearance, Moxley set up two potential feuds for his AEW run should they decide to pursue them. He first attacked Jericho, and we know that those two have a long history with each other. Moxley capped off the night with a longer - and what seemed like a more personal - fight with Kenny Omega.
They fought through the crowd and eventually made their way to the stage. From there, Moxley put Omega through a table after giving 'the Cleaner' an AA off of the stack of Poker chips. Outside of Jericho, Omega is the biggest star in the company and with Moxley's arrival, it puts him in the triumvirate of top stars in the company.
Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.
Some people feel that Cody Rhodes is one of the biggest stars in the company and business, but the three aforementioned stars are bigger than he is. A feud with Omega would truly cement that AEW isn't playing around and it could certainly main event one of their future PPVs.
Omega being an Executive VP and immediately winning the AEW Heavyweight Championship wouldn't seem the best since he and the Elite are in charge of the company. A side feud with Moxley before a title run would help prolong the inevitability of Omega carrying the top prize in the company.
Think of how Roman Reigns hasn't immediately been thrust into the WWE Championship picture since returning just yet. It's going to happen, but not at the moment. The same can be said regarding Omega and the AEW Title.
Moxley vs. Omega is almost as big as 'Alpha vs. Omega' and it could be even bigger depending on the stakes. Factor in more creative freedom for both stars and we have the potential for one of the biggest feuds of the last decade within the next year.
