The Raw tag team division has been tedious for months. The matches and storylines have been unexciting for the fans, in short, the division has completely been lacklustre for the past year. Recently, it was rumoured one of the best tag teams of NXT, The Revival had asked for their release from the company.
Last week on Raw, Ryder returned to help Hawkins after he was attacked by The Revival during their Raw Tag Team Title match. This past Monday, The Revival defeated Ryder and Hawkins but the feud is expected to continue.
Ryder and Hawkins will definitely get a win against the duo, which could build to a triple threat tag team match at Elimination Chamber for the champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.
WWE reportedly told its tag teams that they will put more focus on the division going forward. Sure this match will not help the division but WWE has no other options left.
Also, there is another possibility of making The Revival the champions, after they have been struggling for months on the main roster. Ryder and Hawkins could take the fall and later on, The Revival can continue the feud with former champions- Roode and Gable.
