#5 Sheamus was Bono's bodyguard

Humble beginnings?
Humble beginnings?

Sheamus used to be like all of us before, trying to make the odd penny to account for the expenses. Unlike many other superstars who used to wait tables, wash dishes, or work at general stores, Sheamus earned money in a completely different way before joining WWE!

Sheamus used to earn his extra pennies by warding off any threat to U2’s lead singer and activist Bono. U2 was one of the most iconic bands of their time and Bono used to get a lot of unwanted attention.

It was Sheamus who kept him away from trouble and chaperoned him through crowds. Both men are from Dublin, Ireland, which makes perfect sense why Sheamus would want to keep the world-renowned singer safe.

The Celtic Warrior used to work in a pub in Dublin where he first met U2 and later worked as a part-time bodyguard for them. The pub was called Lily's Bordello and was frequently visited by U2 because as Sheamus said in his own words, they found it 'hassle-free’.
