There are very few true female tag teams in WWE, scattered across RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. One of them is The Riott Squad, Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott. The two of them reunited in 2020 and have been a solid presence in the mid-card in WWE's women's division since then. However, Morgan and Riott are capable of so much more.

The Riott Squad has been racking up several victories on WWE SmackDown recently, which should put them in line for a title shot against Charlotte Flair and Asuka. A victory over the two biggest female stars on WWE RAW would be huge for Riott and Morgan, making them more prominent than they already are.

Liv Morgan, in particular, has improved greatly over the past two years. She is one of the better in-ring workers in WWE, while Ruby Riott has generally been pretty solid over time. The two of them would be great in an 'Us Against the World' scenario, where they defend the Championship across all three WWE brands.

The Women's tag team titles have been passed around across main eventers being thrown together for way too long now and that should change soon. That change will likely come thanks to The Riott Squad, who might just be the best true female tag team in WWE today.
