#2 Is Naomi's storyline with Sonya Deville going to end the latter's authority on SmackDown?

Sonya Deville and Naomi have been quietly feuding on SmackDown for quite a while now. Sonya Deville has been Naomi's biggest critic, telling her that she doesn't even deserve to be on the SmackDown roster.

A furious Naomi stormed into the office, demanding an explanation as to why she wasn't put in the Queen's Crown tournament. Sonya Deville said she was lucky to even be on the SmackDown roster. Once Naomi requested a trade to RAW, she was instantly shut down, with Deville telling her that she has a match next week.

When asked who it was, Deville said that Naomi would be facing her next week on SmackDown. Deville's in-ring return is finally happening after 14 months away from the ring.

The way the storyline was going, it's no surprise that we're seeing Naomi vs Sonya Deville. We expect the latter to cheat and pick up the victory while remaining an authority figure.

But the storyline on SmackDown might be one that will ultimately serve the purpose of removing Deville from power and transitioning her back into her full-time, in-ring role.
