Despite being pregnant, Maria demanded that her husband lay down for her, with Maria winning the gold to become the very first pregnant champion in WWE history.
After a week-long reign, a historic feat given the usual length of reigns, Maria would lose the gold at her OBGYN appointment, being pinned by her husband, who lost the gold shortly thereafter to current champion R-Truth.
