D’Lo Brown made his WWE debut back in 1997 when he appeared as a member of Faarooq’s Nation of Domination. He was one of the several men who appeared in suits to accompany the faction to the ring.

After making such appearances a few times, and getting slammed on the roof of a car by Ahmed Johnson, he started to get some time in the ring as a wrestler.

Brown was good in the ring and competed in many big mid-card matches during his career. He won the WWE Intercontinental Championship once and the WWE European Championship four times.

In 1999, he won the European title for the third time in his career and later faced Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett in a title vs. title match. He went on to win the match and held both the title for over a month before losing both to Jarrett at SummerSlam.

Brown’s tenure lasted till 2003, after which he was released by WWE. He made a short return in 2008, but left in early 2009.
